Our Approach to Irrigation Installation

We combine technical precision with an understanding of plant hydration requirements to deliver systems that function reliably for decades.

How We Started

pebble-badger emerged from a need for irrigation solutions that respect both environmental constraints and the realities of Canadian weather patterns. After years of working with commercial landscaping operations, our founder recognized that most residential properties were either over-watered or neglected entirely.

The initial focus was on retrofitting existing properties with drip systems that could integrate with mature garden layouts. As demand grew, we expanded into full sprinkler network design for new construction projects.

Irrigation system components and installation

What Guides Our Work

Water Stewardship

Every installation is calibrated to deliver only the moisture required, preventing runoff and aquifer depletion.

Code Compliance

All systems meet municipal backflow prevention standards and are installed with proper permits where required.

Long-Term Durability

We specify commercial-grade components that withstand freeze-thaw cycles without cracking or leaking.

Transparent Pricing

Proposals include itemized costs for materials, labor, and future maintenance so clients understand exactly what they're purchasing.

Who Installs Your System

Our installation crew includes certified irrigation technicians with backgrounds in hydraulic engineering and landscape horticulture. Each project manager completes ongoing training in smart controller programming and soil science.

Technical Expertise

We hold certifications from the Irrigation Association and participate in annual workshops on water-efficient design practices.

Local Knowledge

Operating exclusively in Canada allows us to maintain familiarity with regional soil types, frost depth requirements, and native plant water needs.

Installation Process

01

Site Survey

We measure property dimensions, assess water pressure, identify existing utility lines, and catalog vegetation zones.

02

System Design

Based on survey data, we create a zone map showing sprinkler head placement, valve locations, and controller specifications.

03

Installation

Trenches are dug to appropriate depth, pipes are laid and pressure-tested, heads are installed and calibrated.

04

Programming

Controller is configured with zone-specific run times and seasonal adjustments are demonstrated to the client.

05

Handoff

We provide written documentation of the system layout, maintenance schedule, and troubleshooting guidance.
